TRF & Trail Riding

Big bike adventure riding

Trail riding is generally done on lightweight bikes around 90-150kg. With engine sizes varying from 125cc to 700cc.
Increasingly, there is interest in using larger (200kg+) bikes. Cumbria TRF have piloted big-bike runs on selected lanes in our area and we plan to do more such runs and to run club events such as skills training, TET (Trans Euro Trail) expeditions and adventure events.
Look out for big bike runs on our events page.

Second from left in the photo (27) is Andrew Broomby, our chairman who will gladly chat about his experience of the Gibralter Race.
