Thirlmere Reservoir back road
Back of Thirlmere Road.
Mick and myself attended the demonstration to protest at United Utilities intention of closing the road permanently along the west side of Thirlmere. There was a large turnout and the group was addressed by the Liberal candidate for Penrith and Solway, Julie Aglionby.
Not a lot of walkers but a huge attendance by cyclists. If you know any Councillors in this area please write to them and ask for United Utilities to keep open the road for all.
