Orton horse Trial August 2026

Another year and another successful event with our Equine friends.

August 16th and 17th saw a number of volunteers taking part in the setting out and removal of Orton Horse Trails.

Any amazing event and and an honor to see such a well organised and responsible event. The Horses were magnificent and all in amazing condition. Of course a vet was on hand to check them over before and after their runs. A Farrier was also kept busy fettling, Shoeing and maintaing the feet of the attending Horses too.

If was great to meet so many horse riders and to share all the good will over the weekend.

We can co-exist, there is no need for any friction. We are all here to enjoy our time and to spend our time in a manner which, with a little thought can be beneficial to us all.
