Westmorland Agricultural Show 2024
The weather was kind to us with only a couple of showers on the first day.
This year was incredibly different to the previous.
We had a large number of visitors to the stand who expressed a keen interest to signing up at the show. We met a lovely couple on Thursday & William actually joined us the next day at Radnor.
Our presence was well received yet again by the local community, although the fell pony ladies were not happy we were further down the site this year. It was great to be next to the team from GLASS again, the vehicles do tend to be a pulling in point for the passers-by.
The stand looked great (thanks to Andrew and the hard work he has put in). We took along the information leaflets which were useful to hand out, it would be nice next year to have something more specific to the Cumbria group, we also took along some of the merchandise we still have in stock which looked great on display.
Thank you to Gary Evans for sorting out a collection container for us, as some of you will be aware we had a collection for Stephen Duckett who sadly passed away last year. He was a local lad who was very well liked & respected in the area, funds will go to Sight Advice South Lakes.
Big thank you to Richard Harrison, Mark Gill & Gary Evens for setting up, taking down & manning the stand, thank you to Eddie Flint who was also there to put up & take down
Well Done CTRF
